TWO cast members from West Side Story paid a visit to a Gosport school.

Charli Baptie who played Maria and Dominic Hodson who played Tony, who were performing at the Mayflower in Southampton, hosted a question and answer session with students from the expressive arts department at Brune Park School.

GCSE music students were treated to an impromptu workshop on the song Something’s Coming from the show.

The school’s director of expressive arts Caroline Bintley said: ‘These types of real experiences are invaluable to our students’ confidence and wider understanding of performance.

‘We are really grateful to Charli and Dom for their time, energy and inspiration.’
