STUDENTS were put to the test as they cooked lunch for 50 top chefs at Highbury College.
The event was arranged by the Chefs’ Forum as a celebration of the third year that the networking organisation has worked with educational establishments.
The student chefs served up surf and turf alongside The Marriott hotel’s Matt Budden and Paul Watts.
Head of travel, hospitality and catering at the college, Robert Strachan said: ‘These offers of curriculum enrichment opportunities are music to my ears.
‘It is brilliant that we have been able to meet such fantastic producers and suppliers through The Chefs’ Forum.
‘We will definitely make these excursions happen as the students will greatly benefit from these experiences.’
