BUDDING reporters have been grilling Pompey legend Linvoy Primus on his former club’s financial woes and racism on the pitch for a special news bulletin.

Youngsters at Mayville High School in Southsea put hard-hitting questions to the ex footballer in preparation for this year’s BBC School Report on March 15, when they will have to film and edit a news report in a day.

Sam Hardcastle, librarian and teaching assistant, said: ‘It was a fantastic day – the children came up with really good questions and Linvoy gave them a great interview.’
