THREE youngsters got a late Easter present after winning a shopping centre’s holiday competition.
The Easter bunny hunt was one of many fun activities laid on by Fareham Shopping Centre to keep children entertained over the school holidays.
Six Easter bunnies were hidden around the centre in Fareham for children to find so they could qualify for the draw.
The young winners, 10-year-old Charlotte Pitcher from Fareham, Faith Powell, seven, from Portsmouth and Luke Hampton, two, and also from Fareham, were all given a prize hamper.
Centre director Pam Marsden said: ‘We had such a massive response to the competition, it’s a pity that we couldn’t give all the children a prize.’
In addition to the Easter bunny hunt, the centre hosted a variety of children’s entertainment such as face-painting, balloon-modelling and story time Tuesday.
The centre is now holding a Fathers’ Day promotion where kids can nominate their dads to win a prize.
