Electrical fire in Hampshire road leaves car destroyed

A VEHICLE was left almost unrecognisable after it was written off in a fire yesterday.

Firefighters from Cosham Fire Station were called to a burned out car in Oxenbourne Lane in Petersfield on Saturday afternoon, following an electrical fault.

Nobody was injured in the blaze but the car was completely written off.

A spokesman from Cosham Fire Station said: '˜The car was pretty burned out when we arrived.

'˜There were two appliances '“ one from us and one from Horndean.

'˜The car was totally destroyed, you could barely even make out what car it was.'
