FIREFIGHTERS went to put out a small fire in a kitchen.

One fire engine from Fareham and one from Gosport went to James Close, Bridgemary, Gosport.

The call came in at about 10.50pm on Friday and 10 firefighters were sent out.

However, they were not needed as the fire was out on arrival.

A spokesman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue service said that firefighters used a fan to clear fumes.

The cause was accidental.
