799 Christmas trees recycled in Gosport

RECYCLING officers at Gosport Borough Council are thrilled with the response to this year’s free Christmas tree collection service.

Residents were asked to put their trees out on their normal garden waste collection day after Christmas.

A total of 799 trees were taken for composting.
