Meeting deferred over housebuilding plans
RESIDENTS have postponed a meeting to discuss their concerns over housebuilding plans for Lovedean.
People were being invited to meet at Horndean Technology College from 7pm on Thursday to debate plans for 85 homes at James Copse.
However, another meeting, hosted by Horndean Parish Council, will take place at Jubilee Hall in Horndean from 6.30pm on Monday, March 5.
East Hampshire District Council representatives and senior planning officers will attend this meeting.
Residents decided it was better to have a meeting at a later date.
Resident Peter Humphreys, of James Copse Road, said it was important for residents to consider the impact of the development.
He said: ‘Primarily it’s a greenfield site.
‘We think the assumptions and premises they have worked under are flawed.’
