Emsworth’s lucky lottery winning shopkeeper has been inundated with congratulations.

A day on from receiving her scratchcard cheque for £100,000, Christine Cole said: ‘Everyone has been really nice.’

‘Everyone has been congratulating us, it’s been really pleasant.’

Christine, from Leigh Park, bought the lucky scratch card from her own store, Super Shop newsagents in Emsworth.

After celebrating with her husband Peter, she joked: ‘It’s only a small town, we’ve felt like minor celebrities the last couple of days.’
