A grand garden fayre is to take place to raise money for charity.

The event will be held in the grounds of Holywell House, in Swanmore, near Fareham, which is the home of the Earl and Countess Clarendon.

Money raised will go to the Wessex Cancer Trust and the Countryside Alliance.

There will be a large variety of garden and gift trade stands and items for the home and garden.

More than 15 professional nurseries and a charity plant stall will also be selling unusual plants and vegetables.

Home made refreshments, tea and coffee, a hog roast and entertainment will be on offer.

The fayre is on Sunday, May 10. Entry is 5 per car.
