An art exhibition inspired by an excavation project on Petersfield Heath will be on display at the Flora Twort Gallery.

The gallery in The Square, Petersfield will showcase paintings of local artists who have been fascinated by how much of the Town’s heritage has been uncovered due to the excavation.

The project, which has been called People of the Heath will be on display from Tuesday, September 8 and will be open daily from 10am until Saturday, September 19.

The exhibition will bring together a fascinating mix of painting, photography, film, drawing and textiles to explore the history, natural history and present of the Heath and its people.

Entry to the exhibition is free, so guests can enjoy the art in a relaxed atmosphere.

For more information on the exhibition contact Kathrin Pieren on 01730 262601.
