QUEEN Alexandra Hospital will benefit from sales of paintings at an art exhibition.
Artists Pat Hoper and Terry Devaney have generously offered to raise funds from their work by holding an exhibition at the League of Friends cafe at the Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham, for one month from July 1.
Mrs Devaney took up painting after a serious illness and works mainly in watercolour.
Mrs Hoper’s preferred mediums are watercolour and acrylics, although she trained originally with oils.
Both artists attended art college in the 1960s and are currently members of the Rowlands Castle Painting Society.
Commission from sales of paintings will go to help the League of Friends charity funds for much needed hospital equipment.
