A CRAFT fair which aims to raise cash for a worthy charitable cause will soon come to Cosham.

Visitors will get the chance to buy jewellery and handmade cards and chocolates from stalls at the event, which will be held at St Philip’s Church, in Hawthorn Crescent, on Saturday, January 14. Wooden toys, ribbons and items to make scrapbooks will also be on sale.

Proceeds from the day, which is being organised by Cosham Scrapbook Club, will go towards the efforts of Cancer Research UK. Christine Judge, owner of Cosham Scrapbook Club, said: ‘Even if we manage to raise 1p or £10,000 every little helps towards a cure for cancer.

‘We are also hoping to do a tombola. Again all the money from the prizes will go to the charity.’

Entry costs 20p.
