POMPEY supporters are gearing up for the Fans’ Day on May 2, to coincide with the team’s last home game of the season.

The event is aimed at bringing supporters together and celebrating the end of the season with a bang, as well as supporting our Blue Day appeal.

The date of the event changed because the date of the final home game, against Norwich, was moved.

There will be stalls and games at the match and all profits from the day will go to Portsmouth Study Centre and to Blue Day, held in aid of the Tom Prince Cancer Trust.

The Prince family have put together an A to Z fundraising guide packed full of ideas.

This year Tom’s mum Adele, dad Clinton and sister Emma want to see as many different activities take place as possible to help raise £25,000 for the charity.

If you’re planning an event, you need to register it with the trust at or call reporter Sheanne Mulholland at The News on (023) 9262 2170.
