CHARITY shops are appealing for unwanted Christmas gifts to be donated to their stores.

Social care charity Sue Ryder is looking for books, jewellery, bric-a-brac or furniture to be given to their stores in Fareham and Gosport.

All money raised from the sale of the donated items goes directly to supporting the charity’s work providing end-of-life and long-term care to people in hospices and care centres.

Helen Reynolds, from Sue Ryder, said: ‘Every penny we are able to raise for Sue Ryder means extra help we can provide for people living with complex care and support needs.’
