Fareham firefighters battle shed blaze

A SHED burst into flames yesterday afternoon sparking an emergency response from firefighters in Fareham.

The fire took place at about 2.30pm, in Funtley Hill, Funtley.

Crews from Fareham and Wickham were called to tackle the fire, which was threatening to spread to nearby properties.

Firefighters used two high-pressure water hoses to extinguish the blaze – which had spread to a set of neighbouring conifer trees.
