THE winners of the Fareham in Bloom community gardening competition will be announced next week.

The awards presentation evening will take place on Friday, September 14 from 7.30pm at Ferneham Hall.

Fareham in Bloom is a community gardening campaign for residents within the borough that attracts hundreds of entries.

There are 21 categories within the competition that have been judged with each entry being graded on their individual merit with awards from bronze, silver, silver gilt and gold to be presented.

Regional awards for the South and Southeast in Bloom will also be presented during the evening.
