ONE lucky shopper will get to go wild in the aisles after winning a trolley dash in a supermarket’s fundraising drive.

Staff from Iceland, in West Street, Fareham, spent the week fundraising for the Royal British Legion as part of a nationwide campaign that aimed to raise £1m for the charity that provides support to the serving and ex-service community.

Store manager Lisa Pennicott said she was proud of her team and their efforts.

She said: ‘It’s a great charity. It has been brilliant.’

The Fareham store raised more than £1,000 through cake bakes, donations, sponsored fancy dress and a raffle.

The top prize of the raffle - a trolley dash - was won by Mrs A Stares.
