YOUNGSTERS strutted down the catwalk like professional models at a fashion show in aid of a worthy cause.
Members of Cosham Baptist Church modelled trousers made by former prostitutes who have been taken off the streets by Christian charity Harvest India and given a trade. Churchgoers got the chance to buy some of the trousers, which had been shipped over from India, after the show. A total of £1,200 was raised from the sale at the church in Havant Road, Cosham.
The money will now go towards giving the Indian women a wage.
Tracey Ansell, a minister in training at the church, said: ‘The show was absolutely fantastic.
‘Everyone that took part really got into it and were full of expession.’
