A MAN has died following a three-car collision.

The 36-year-old, from Pulborough, West Sussex, was driving along the A29 in Bury Hill, near Chichester, when the accident happened on Wednesday.

His red Toyota Rav 4 was in collision with a red Ford Mondeo travelling southbound and a silver Audi which was travelling northbound at around 5.35pm.

He was taken to St Richards Hospital suffering from serious injuries but died shortly afterwards.

The driver of the Mondeo, a 49-year-old man from Chichester, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital.

The 63-year-old driver of the silver Audi was uninjured.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or any incidents involving the vehicles prior to the collision.
