Visitors will get the chance to go behind the scenes at Ferneham Hall as part of a day of entertainment.

The open day at the venue in Osborn Road, Fareham, is on Sunday from 10am to 4pm and entry is free.

As well as backstage tours, there will be the chance to enjoy performances from local bands, societies and dance groups, as well as music from Havant Chamber Orchestra.

And there will be a large Rib on display from Gosport and Fareham Inshore Rescue Service, one of the chosen charities by mayor of Fareham, Councillor Mike Ford.

He will officially open proceedings.

There will be plenty of activities to keep children busy.

Characters from the Disney film Frozen will be at the special event, and there will be a face painter.

Competitions for tickets and spot prizes will run throughout the day.

And there is the chance to watch a sword-fighting display and join in dance and acting workshops.
