CHRISTMAS came early at Stansted House this year as the annual festival got thousands of people into the festive spirit.
The house near Rowlands Castle was opened up to the public for a festive treat.
There were stalls selling gifts and food and children had the chance to visit Santa in his grotto.
House manager Janet Sinclair said: ‘This looks like it’s our best ever year.
‘It provides the kind of things you don’t find on the high street which is why it’s so popular.’
Sharon Bettesworth, 39, from Hayling Island took her four-year-old daughter Louisa. She said: ‘We came to bring the little one out and get into the Christmas spirit. It’s traditional.’
Debbie Band, 38, from Petersfield, brought her kids Victoria, three, and Robyn, one.
She said: ‘It’s nice. It’s good fun. There is something for everyone.’
