FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a small fire at a home in Portsea.

Two crews from Southsea fire station went to Cleverley House, in College Street, Portsea, Portsmouth, at 3.39pm but the small fire was out when they arrived.

An appliance from Cosham station was sent out but was called back before it arrived.

Police and the ambulance service were initially involved but no-one was injured.
