FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze at a derelict building overnight.

Crews from Gosport, Havant, Fareham and Cosham all helped to put out the fire in Rowner Road, Rowner, which started at about midnight.

It took about an hour to put out the flames and firefighters then spent the next couple of hours cooling the place down.

The cause of the fire is being investigated, and 30 per cent of the building has been damaged.
