A SMALL fire caused a power cut last night.

Firefighters from Southsea were called to a sub-station in Somers Road, Somers Town, after a fire caused the power go off.

The incident occurred at 7.30pm and the power remained off for around an hour. A number of houses in the area were affected including the fire station.
