FIREFIGHTERS were called out to break into a property so the ambulance service could treat a man who had suffered head injuries.

One crew from Cosham was called to Athena Avenue, in Waterlooville, by South Central Ambulance Service.

Paramedics were called to a property to treat a man with head injuries.

The call came in at 4pm on Saturday.

Firefighters broke down the door so paramedics could treat the patient.
