Firefighters were called to reports of a small fire on a barge in Portsmouth’s dockyard.

The call was received at around 2.40pm today.

Four fire engines were sent to the scene, including two from Southsea, one from Cosham, and one from Havant – the standard response for fires at the dockyard.

The fire was quickly put out.
