A GROUP of youths who were arrested for allegedly setting fire to the horse stables at the back of Sparsholt Close, Havant, have had their bail extended.

Two 18-year-old men and a 16-year-old boy were arrested after the incident, which resulted in £7,000 worth of damage to the site. They are accused of going into the field where the stables stand and setting fire to the stables and the nearby containers, destroying them.

A decision was supposed to be made by the Crown Prosecution Service on Monday, but bail was extended for further police investigation until July 19.
