A 10-YEAR-OLD boy needed to be rescued after getting stuck up a tree.

One crew from Cosham were called to a park off Mayfield Road in Portsmouth.

The boy had been climbing the tree but was unable to get down.

The fire service used a ladder to help him get back down to the ground, and made sure he was unharmed. He got down safely but firefighters said he was a bit shaken.

It happened at 8.40pm on Sunday.
