FIREFIGHTERS will be rowing and cycling thousands of miles to raise money for a children’s Christmas party.
On Saturday, December 1, firefighters will be near Bar 38 in Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth, from 8am to 4.30pm.
They will be rowing and cycling on static bikes and machines to reach a distance of one million metres.
The sponsored event is to raise money for the annual children’s Christmas party held at Cosham fire station.
Each year poorly children from Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham, are invited to the party.
