The child was rescued from a car in Privett Road, Gosport, at 9.15am. Firefighters forced open a car door.

Then a truck was sent to a care home in Lee-on-the-Solent after an automatic fire alarm went off at 10.26am.

Under half an hour later a crew was called to another automatic alarm at Newtown Primary School, in Queen’s Road, at 10.52am.
