FIRE engines went to a school after concerns about chemicals found stored in a science cupboard.

Firefighters were called to The Academy in School Lane, Selsey, following a health and safety check being carried out during the Easter holidays.

Six vehicles went to the school at about 1.20pm on 
Tuesday.

A fire spokeswoman said: ‘After a thorough investigation it was concluded that there were no chemical spillages or leaks and the environment was safe.’
