A MAN dialled 999 after being locked in a public toilet.

The man was trapped inside the cafe toilets at The Hard, Portsea, after being accidentally locked in the building.

A crew from Southsea fire station was called to the scene shortly after 6pm yesterday.

A fire spokesman said: ‘They came and locked it up and he was still in there.

‘They locked the main door.

‘When he came to get out, he couldn’t.

‘It was a special service call and we released him.’
