HUGE splashes of colour lit up the sky at a fireworks display in Rowland’s Castle.

Hundreds of people in the crowd watched on as the spectacle got underway just after 7pm.

Gary Anderson, 40, was with his daughter Lilly-Ella, five, at the recreation ground off Links Lane.

The pair from Blednworth Crescent, Havant, had travelled to watch the display.

‘They’re very pretty,’ Lilly-Ella said.

‘They go really high.’

Gary added: ‘The little one likes the fireworks.

‘We were going to go to the Leigh Park ones but it was a bit wet.

‘She’s been begging me all day to go.’

People enjoyed fairground rides and a bonfire at the popular family-friendly event.
