AN EASTER toy appeal has been set up for children at Portsmouth’s main hospital.

Access Self Storage, in Regent Street, Landport, has set up a drop-off point in their offices for people to leave unwanted gifts or items for children.

These will then be donated to children at the Starfish Ward, in Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham.

The company will also match every gift that is donated.

Kevin Pratt, marketing manager, said: ‘We are delighted to support this year’s Easter Toy Appeal and eager to encourage people to show their support and donate their unused gifts at our drop-off points.

‘Easter is a time to enjoy family and a lot of these children will not be able to spend it at home.

‘We hope to put a smile on their faces.’

The gifts will be given to the hospital on April 8, with the Easter bunny making a guest appearance to hand the presents over.
