A FIVE-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after falling off a roof.

Police were called to Elm Grove, in Southsea, at around 12.20pm today.

Four fire engines and ambulance crews were called to the scene to help rescue the boy who had fallen in between two walls.

He was then taken to Southampton General Hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
