LADIES from a flower club will be brightening up the days of mothers across Fareham with their daffodil posies.

Fareham Flower Club, which meets on the second Thursday of each month at Wallington Village Hall, will be selling Mother’s Day posies in Fareham Shopping Centre on Saturday, March 25 from 9am.

The flower club’s table will be by Cafe Giardino.

Sandy Mitchell, from the group, said: ‘We hope to raise a great amount of money for the charity Cash For Kids, which is run by the local radio station Wave 105 and supports local children’s welfare.’

She added that all are welcome to enjoy the demonstrations at the ‘friendly and informal club’ at its monthly meetings, which start at 7pm.
