FOODIE Caroline Stafford has won a national competition and will see her own burger creation appear in restaurants across the country.

The Fareham resident entered the competition and beat more than 800 other competitors when her Euro’s Finest burger got the most votes on Facebook.

The burger, which is a combination of beef burger, chicken burger, bacon, mozzarella, crispy onion rings, pepperoni, mayo and BBQ sauce in a ciabatta will appear in Flaming Grill’s pubs and restaurants from June 12

Caroline said: ‘I was shocked to be taken through to the finals of the competition. I was up against some great entries and I’m over the moon to be named the winner.

‘I’ll be extremely proud when I see my burger on the menu, and I’m sure it will taste just as delicious as it sounds.’

Caroline also won £500 in prize money.
