POMPEY fans have paid their respects to a four-year-old who lost his battle with cancer this week.

Jack Robinson, from Denmead, died on Tuesday after suffering from an inoperable brain tumour.

A minute’s applause was held at Fratton Park before Pompey’s match against Hartlepool this afternoon.

Jack’s twin Liam released a balloon in memory of his brother.

Jack’s story has touched the hearts of thousands of people, with many across the community raising money to make his dreams come true, which included meeting Take That frontman Gary Barlow.

Tomorrow, another balloon release will be held at Fratton Park in his memory.
