CHILDREN can enjoy free fun during half-term with a range of activities.

Fareham Borough Council, in partnership with Y Services, will be holding Play Rangers events starting from Wednesday.

The free sessions are being held throughout Fareham and the surrounding areas and activities range from themed games to crafts.

On Wednesday, at Bishopsfield Road in Fareham, at 9.30am there will be caterpillar crafts and games.

Also on Wednesday, at Stubbington Recreation Ground, there is a beach-themed party, which starts at 1.30pm.

Councillor Connie Hockley, in charge of leisure and community matters, said: ‘I’m delighted the Play Rangers are back again.

‘With activities including soft play and parachute games, sports and crafts there’s plenty to keep children entertained during the holiday.’

The sessions are for children under 12-years-old and children aged eight or under must be accompanied by an adult. For more activities through the week, visit fareham.gov.uk.
