Southsea Greenhouse is running a series of free workshops over the next few weeks to support entrants to Portsmouth in Bloom who would like to learn more about gardening.
All the workshops are presented by Goff Gleadle and take place at Southsea Greenhouse Community Garden.
A 45-minute workshop on starting to grow your own vegetables runs from 10.30am on Tuesday.
Issues on climate change and the gardener take place on Tuesday, June 2 at 10.30am.
Gardeners can learn about growing vegetables in containers at a workshop on Thursday, June 4 at 10.30am and making hanging baskets on Tuesday, June 9 at 10.30am.
A workshop entitled The Sensory Garden will take place on Thursday, June 28 at 10.30am.
All the workshops last 45 minutes.
