FREE information on cancer will be available from a mobile service from Macmillan Cancer Support.

The charity will be in the Portsmouth area at the end of this month offering support and advice to members of the public. The team will also be able to answer questions or concerns relating to cancer.

The service will be at London Road Precinct, Waterlooville, on September 28 between 10am and 4pm

The following day it will be at Palmerston Road, in Southsea, between 10am and 4pm and then in Commercial Road, Portsmouth, on September 30 between 9am and 3pm.

Michelle Smith, a Macmillan information and support specialist on the unit, said: ‘It’s really important that people living with cancer are able to access the financial information and support they are entitled to, so they can focus on what’s most important: their health.

‘We can help signpost people to Macmillan benefits advisers who can provide free, confidential support.’
