FREE wildflower seeds will be handed out to mark two decades of a horticultural volunteer scheme.

To mark the 20th anniversary of Fareham in Bloom, 5,000 seed packets will be handed out by volunteers at Fareham Shopping Centre.

The Fareham in Bloom team and employees from the shopping centre will be giving out the seeds to encourage people to sow wild flowers in their own gardens.

They will be in the shopping centre from Monday until Sunday, March 22 from 10am until 3pm.

A free wild meadow workshop will be held at the open space in Hillson Drive, Fareham, at 1pm on Thursday, April 9.
