TWO friends taking part in a 10-month walk will be passing through Portsmouth this afternoon.

Domenico Russo and Alfie Butler started their journey in Loughborough and will be walking across Europe to raise money.

The pair are expected to reach Portsmouth today before getting on a boat and heading to France.

So far, they have raised £1,070 for charity Baca which works with youngsters who have been separated from their family either through trafficking or war.

Domenico, 35, wants to raise £7,250 by the time the walk is finished in November.

They are doing a blog on their walk on Facebook. Search for Long Walk Home.
