A FAMILY fun day will be raising money for a national charity.

Jan Hancock-Cullimore decided to hold a fun day for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The event on July 20 will have an indoor barbecue, bouncy castle, face painting and games.

Jan said: ‘I organised a charity fundraiser last year for a different charity and it went well.

‘So I thought I would hold another one for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

‘Before Stephen Sutton, it wasn’t that well known so I thought will be good to raise money for them.’

Stephen, from Staffordshire, who died aged 19 this year, raised £4.2m through his campaigning.

The event is at St Mary’s Church Hall, Green Road, Alverstoke. It starts at 1pm.
