THROUGH an evening of song, dance and food, the Malaysian culture will be discovered in an annual event.

The Portsmouth Malaysian Night sees the Malaysian culture celebrated in a range of different activities.

For this year’s event, on March 27, students from the University of Portsmouth will be performing in a play at the King’s Theatre, Albert Road, Southsea.

Haziq Hillman, President of Portsmouth Malaysian Night, said: ‘The students will be performing Kebayan - The Untold Story.

‘It is an exciting evening.

‘And it’s and a chance for Malaysians and other people to come together and learn about the rich culture.’

Tickets cost £8 and can be bought on the door.

Traditional Malaysian food will also be available.
