A FUNDRAISER to help a young girl walk is taking place in a Southsea pub.

Meliah Webster, of Fratton Road, Fratton, is 23 months old and suffers from cerebral palsy.

The condition means she is unable to walk and needs life-changing surgery at a hospital in Germany, costing £10,000.

Her parents Collette Webster and Kris Calladine, have organised a fundraiser at the Alma Arms in Highland Road, Southsea.

The event takes place on Sunday, June 26, starting starts at noon and finishing at 6pm.

Activities include a disco, raffle, auction, buffet, a bouncy castle and a tug of war. Tickets cost £5 for adults and are free for children.
