Get sporty and help a charity

PEOPLE of all ages and fitness levels are being invited to take part in Sport Relief in Havant.

Taking place at Staunton Country Park, people can choose from three distances of one, three, or six miles to run or walk.

Havant Borough Council is supporting the event, which takes place at 2pm on Sunday, March 25, and is backed by Sainsbury’s.

Richard Wood, the council’s sports development officer, said: ‘Entrants don’t have to be sporty to take part. From teeny-tots with their mums and dads, to super sprinters up against the clock, there’s something for everyone on the big day.’

People can register at sportrelief.com or call 0300 123 5070.
