A SPONSORED walk will be taking place in Wickham to raise money for a local cats charity.

The five-mile country walk will start at Wickham Square on Sunday, May 26 and runs from 11am until 1pm.

It is being held to raise money for the Fareham and Waterlooville branch of Cats Protection.

There will be a stop at the Samuel’s Rest pub in Shedfield for a drink.

People are advised to bring their own food for lunch to avoid excessive delays.

The minimum sponsorship fee is £10 and additional donations are welcomed.

All money raised will all go to caring for cats and carrying out important welfare work for them.

The sponsorship form can be downloaded via the website at cats.org.uk.
