WITH three trophies under her belt, Zenouska Wisniewska is pleased with her performance at Portsmouth Music Festival.
Competing in the vocal section of the festival, the 11-year-old from Soberton Heath stunned adjudicators and spectators alike with her singing.
The Portsmouth High School pupil won the Florence Greaves Cup, the Bernard Toms Cup and the Nelson Cup with a rendition of the Disney sing God Helps
the Outcasts in the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Zenouska said: ‘When I sat down I knew I’d done pretty well because you can tell when you have done something wrong.
‘I didn’t think I would win three but I’m happy.’
She added that Portsmouth Music Festival is a good opportunity to practise singing in front of an audience.
She said: ‘The reason I went was to practise my skills and work in front of a real audience which is something I don’t get to do often.’
The vocal section took place over two days in the Menuhin Room, Central Library, Portsmouth.
Gwenda Dearsley, chairwoman of Portsmouth Music Festival, said: ‘We had a really good two days with some very fine singing.
‘From what I have seen and heard in all sections of the festival so far, I think we will have a great gala concert on March 28.’
